Anwesha De

I joined the Marketing Department in September 2021. I earned my PhD in Marketing at Indiana University. My research interests lie in the area of social media, Digital Marketing, and Advertising. I study how the alignment of a brand’s marketing communication strategies and consumer's media consumption habits impact firm outcomes. My research has been published in Marketing Science, for which I also won the Dalton Publication Award. I received a master’s degree in Statistics (Mumbai University) and an MBA (XLRI Jamshedpur). Prior to joining academia, I worked at Kantar IMRB and HDFC Bank.
